Took the Dingy out to explore down the harbor for a snorkeling place.  It was a rough wet ride with the wind in our face at 20+ kts.  I know I sound like a broken record about the wind, but it just has not let up.  Found some nice cuts where it looks like snorkeling would be good, but need to go on a less windy day and at slack tide.  It was too wet to take a picture, but on the way back we went by the Windjammer ship "Mystic" http://www.voyagermystic.com/ships_TSM.asp and took a picture with the normal sail boats in the background.

14 Dec 08, 12:00 - N 23 31.004 W 075 45.334

So we went to the Pig Roast, it was good food!  Drank some beer and told some stories.  Back on the boat an the winds are 25+ and we are a rocking and a rolling!  Can't complain.  I actually ware a long sleeve tee-shirt. It is still in the 70ds can you beat that?  Having a good time.

 14 Dec 08, 12:00 - N 23 31.004 W 075 45.334

Just another windy day with the winds out of the south east so we are getting a lot of fetch up the harbor.  Today is Sunday and there is a pig roast at Chat and Chill, sound good to me.  Hey Tony, if you know of a place to get a good deal on lures let Ghada know so she can bring some.  We have lost 3 so far and only have 2 left.

13 Dec 08, 14:00 - N 23 31.004 W 075 45.334

The wind is blowing hard today.  The internet is too far away and is in and out.  We made two dingy rides to town to attempt to set up another internet connection, but it is in and out also.  What a lazy day, looks like I will have to go to Chat and Chill again this afternoon.

12 Dec 08, 11:00 - N 23 31.004 W 075 45.334

Left at first light just in front of the first cold front.  Motor Sailed at 8.5 kts to arrive Elizabeth Harbor just in front of the cold front.  Caught two yellow fin tuna on the way down but let them go. We are now at anchor just off Chat and Chill.  Looks like we are going to have 3 or 4 days of a big blow from the North.

11 Dec 08, 1700 - N 23 24.322 W 076 06.349

Arrived Lee Stocking Island.  Caught several fish, a Dolphin fish but did not get it aboard, a Wahoo that chip cleaned and ate, and a yellow fin tuna that we let go (too small).  Spent the night on a mooring and plan to leave at first light.  Only two other boats in the anchorage.

10 Dec 08, 1700 - N 24 06.093 W 076 24.102

Had a wonderful dinner, pork chops dinner and multiple Kalik beer it is time to go back to the boat.  Island life is so much different.  Tomorrow it a different day and we  will see if we are to depart of stay putt for another day.

10 Dec 08, 1700 - N 24 06.093 W 076 24.102

Arrived in Black Point at about 1500 and took the dingy into town. Meet Loraine and set up dinner this evening. (Oh ya, had 4 Kalik while talking).  We are going to dinner at Loraine's this evening about 6:00 PM.  More later.

10 Dec 08, 0800 - N 24 23.574 W 076 38.135

We are on the move today.  We are going to try to get to George Town in front of the next front.  Here is our plan:

10 Dec 08, Anchor Black Point N 24 06 W76 24

11 Dec 08, Mooring at  Lee Stocking Island N 23 46 W 76 06.5

12 Dec 08, Anchor Elizabeth Island, Georg Town, N 23.30.3 W 75 43.5

Don't know when we will get internet again so I may not have an update for a while.

9 Dec 08, 1800 - N 24 23.574 W 076 38.135

Wind blue all day 18 - 25.  There was a cruisers get together on the beach at 1600.  About 16 people showed up.  I did not take my camera so no pictures.

8 Dec 08, 0700 - N 24 23.574 W 076 38.135

The winds just blow and blow last night.  Glad we are where we are.  There is a lot of things to see here in the park so it looks like we have a few days to check them out.

7 Dec 08, 1315 - N 24 23.574 W 076 38.135

It was a good night last night.  No wind and had both anchors out in a Bahamas Moore and the boat stayed in one place.  The bad news was the weather report that the cold front was coming down and the winds were going to be our of the west and strong later today so I decided that we would go to Exuma Park and get a mooring for the next few days.  That sounded a lot better than trying anchor and stay in one place at Normans Key.  So here we are on the ball.   This is beautiful place and it has internet, but no phone.  On the way we caught a fish, don't know if it was a 3 ft Barracuda or a Wahoo, so we let it go.

6 Dec 08, 1300 - N24 44.957 W076 50.225

The wind blow pretty hard last night. I did not get much sleep due to the anchor chain slapping up side the hull.  The wind and current were all confused.  Today is a better day, not much wind.  Went and fed the iguanas, took a walk around Leaf Cay, and went snorkeling on one of the reefs. Lots of fish and coral.  Now back to boat, must be time for a nap.

5 Dec 08, 1530 - N24 44.957 W076 50.225

Arrived at Alan's Key and got anchored.  It seams to be standard there is not much wind so we have to motor, but then just as get within a few miles of your destination the winds pick up and the sea gets rough.  Between the current and the wind the boat points one way and pulls on the anchor the other way.  Took a quick trip to Leaf Cay to see the iguanas.  They are funny, as soon as you land your dingy they come up for a hand out.  I will get some pictures tomorrow.

5 Dec 08, 08000 - N25 04.539 W077 18.996

Well we are off today to the islands.  Not much wind but only a 35 mile run.  Let you know more when we get another connection.

Expected departure 0800, 5 Dec 08.
